How it works
From Design to Startup, we promise to treat your backyard like our own as we bring your vision to life.

Design Consultation
We will meet with you in your backyard to measure the space and discuss your vision. You will then receive a custom rendering and quote and we will discuss any necessary changes until you are ready to sign off and proceed.

Material Selections
While we submit plans for permitting to the parish, HOA, and/or levee board, your project color palette will take shape. We will review samples for tile, coping, deck material & finish, plaster color and finish type, ledgestone or rockwork, and various other decisions that will truly make your backyard unique.

Construction
Once all permits and approvals are complete, excavation is scheduled. From there we continue to rebar placement, gunite, plumbing, tile & coping, decking, pool plaster, and equipment/electrical connection. This normally takes 4-6 weeks, weather permitting.

Startup & Completion
Once the pool plaster is complete, we will begin to fill the pool with water. Chemicals will be added to balance the water and ensure safe swimming for you and your family. At this point we will schedule a “Pool School” meeting to review the equipment schedules and best practices. Then, the fun begins as you plan your first pool party!

How quickly can we get started?
Our commitment is to get back to you promptly within 24 hours from the time of your inquiry to setup a design consultation. Your time is valuable, and we strive to provide swift and efficient communication. After the on-site appointment, we do our best to send your project quote within 48 hours via email. Upon contract signing and initial deposit, we normally setup a dig date within 2 weeks. Some outside factors that might delay this include permit office, Levee Board, or HOA restrictions and/or signoffs.
What price range do your pools start at?
Our pricing is competitive, while also reflecting the high-quality services we offer. Swimming pools start around $56K and our pool/spa combos start around $75K. For detailed pricing information we need to look at your space and determine water features, deck areas, material types, plumbing runs, dirt removal, equipment location, and several other design elements. We ensure transparent and fair estimates tailored to your specific project needs and can work within your budget to achieve the perfect pool for your backyard. This way, you have the flexibility to choose the design that best aligns with your preferences AND budget.
Who will be on-site during the project?
Ryan will be on site throughout your project; from design consultation and construction, all the way to equipment startup and “Pool School”. Ryan is the owner of Artesian Pools and Spas, and a third-generation pool builder who has been around concrete since he was knee high to a grasshopper. Our on-site partners are truly experts in their fields, and we only choose the best stone masons, plumbers, concrete workers, and pool plaster technicians to bring your project to life.
How long does everything take?
For most projects, we aim to have you swimming in 4-6 weeks. Weather, material, and equipment delays will be communicated promptly if they impact your project timeline. For more complex or larger projects, we will discuss a timeline during the design phase and do everything possible to adhere to an accurate schedule. Your satisfaction and the longevity of our work are our top priorities, but we know that the best part of pool ownership is the “SWIM” phase!

Back in October We thought we may put a pool in during spring / summer of this year. That timeline moved up quickly After speaking with Ryan at Artesian Pools LLC and going through the many options and pricing. Ryan said we could start as soon as we were ready!!
Ryan promptly started scheduling everything and by the end of October the digging and plumbing were underway! The concrete was poured, plaster sprayed and the decking finished a lot sooner than we expected!! The pool was complete in February!
By late March we were able to swim (heated of course) for Our daughters birthday party.
We have been enjoying it this summer and finally have some landscaping in to accent the great craftsmanship of our pool!!

What do I recommend about Artesian Pools, Everything!!! Ryan and his crew were amazing to work with. He was awesome and always available. Never had to call to see if they were going to show up because they were already out there. We have never worked with such an amazing company.
